Megan’s Story

If you’ve ever wondered how you can heal your IBS, improve your menstrual cycle, or balance your thyroid without drugs, you’ve come to the right place. You might have been given a diagnosis that left you hanging. Maybe your doctor wrote a prescription and told you to come back next year. Or maybe you were told your condition can’t be cured.

I heard it all, too. I suffered from dozens of health issues, including Celiac, Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism, menstrual issues and depression. I was given tests and pills, but not taught how to take care of my health in the most basic ways, so I began a several year journey to uncover what was happening, and recover my life.

My pursuit to heal myself led me into the health and wellness field, where I became trained as a Holistic Health and Nutrition Counselor, and a practitioner of specialized Abdominal Massage. Changing my diet, receiving regular bodywork, and using natural therapies gave me immediate improvement. Sounds simple, right?

Well, it is, but that’s not the whole story. The truth is I had to work really hard at it. And it took years of experimentation. While I felt better right away, this served only as motivation to keep seeking the answers—fully resolving all the areas of my health that had been effected was a complex and at times arduous pursuit. I experimented with every remedy I could get my hands on, radically changing my diet every few months, consulting countless healthcare providers and canceling my social life to get home and do my special therapies.

Finally I found what worked and stuck with it until the results unfolded. I healed myself from the incurable. My autoimmune diseases are now in remission, my periods are regular, my digestion is great, and I’m healthier and happier than I ever could have imagined!

I tried incorporating the same techniques that worked for me with my patients, and began having great results with them, too. Even people who had different health problems than I did started improving!

Couples with “unexplained infertility” started the family they’d always dreamed of, women with menstrual issues or hormonal imbalances started having regular cycles, people with chronic joint issues began to enjoy exercise again, and others with chronic pain or fatigue began experiencing more energy and relief than ever before.

Through years of trial and error, I discovered a basic protocol addressing all aspects of one’s being that anyone can use to start feeling better. I teach these foundational principles in my health and nutrition programs.

But truth be told, bioindividuality—the concept that every body is different and has differing needs—is perhaps the only truth in medicine and health. That’s why I work with motivated individuals on a variety of levels (educational, intellectual, emotional, practical) and with a variety of approaches (nutrition, health counseling, and a background of years of abdominal massage therapies) to personalize your program to your unique needs.

Better health is possible by getting to the core. I’ve been there and I’m here to help.
